Part-Time Video Editor (Fall 2025)

Job Type: Part-time Position, approximately 10 hours per week (with potential to increase to 20 hours for the right candidate)
Compensation: Range from $15-$50 an hour, depending on experience
Job Overview
Kinley Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our creative marketing team. You’ll work hands-on with our Head Video Editor to learn how to produce high-performing, viral short-form videos for hospitality, lifestyle, and tourism brands.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about digital storytelling and eager to grow in a professional, creative environment. We’ll train you on how to edit content that performs—understanding pacing, hooks, and the psychology behind videos that go viral.
Responsibilities
Video Editing: Edit and repurpose short-form video content for reels, TikToks, and ads across multiple client brands.
Collaboration: Work directly under the Head Video Editor to refine editing techniques and storytelling skills.
Creative Strategy: Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop fresh, high-impact video ideas.
Brand Consistency: Maintain each client’s unique visual identity and tone.
Optimization: Learn how to edit for algorithm performance and audience retention.
File Management: Organize and maintain video assets, b-roll, and project files.
Trend Awareness: Stay current on editing styles, viral video trends, and platform best practices.
Qualifications
Basic experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro).
Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts formats.
Strong sense of visual rhythm, storytelling, and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow under mentorship.
Creative mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Photography, motion graphics, or filming experience is a plus.
